Click Install to begin the installation. The installation may take several minutes. Click Finish to close the window. Once the software has downloaded, open the package by double clicking the file. If the message below appears, click Allow.

The installer will begin. Click Continue. Select your language and click Continue. Read and agree to the license terms.

Click Install. Enter your password. When presented with this screen, click Open System Preferences. Select your preferred options then click Continue. Once installed, you can close the window. Once ActivInspire is installed and there will be a shortcut on your desktop. Double-click it to launch ActivInspire.

You should check the box to accept the terms of the license, then click OK. If you do not have an ActivInspire Activation Key you can leave this field blank. You can choose whether you would like to import this file to My Resources or Shared Resources. Browse to the Resource Pack, select it and click Open. The resources will be imported and indexed. Once complete, the resources can be found in the Resource Browser in the Subjects folder.

Where can I download this software from? Hi, I think this software is actually in the process of being "taken down". Your best bet would probably be to use Inspire Personal edition - which should open all. This is available for free from the Promethean Planet site. Hope this helps.

Bit of a thread resurrection I realise, but is there any replacement for the Flipchart viewer please? Wish to use something to view Promethean's flipcharts in school where we do not have Promethean devices.

We have a few staff that have come from such places and would like to use their resources. I'd like to know this too. Promethean formats seem to be incompatible with just about everything! I thought that as well, but their site says it can be. Rather annoying that Promethean's site is so badly kept, all the old links still exist and point to things like the flipchart viewer yet are obviously dead! Plus the whole thing is so outdated and difficult to navigate it wouldn't surprise me if it puts people off buying them.
